Food packages after the 2019 earthquake in Albania

On 26 November 2019, a strong earthquake hit Albania, damaging thousands of homes and leaving many families in difficulty. In the period that followed, KEIT donated food packages to people affected by the earthquake, in collaboration with the TV programme Fundjavë Ndryshe.

The packages helped families cover their basic needs during the hardest weeks after the disaster. This action is part of more than 1,000 food packages that KEIT donated in total in response to the earthquakes in Albania in 2019 and Turkey in 2023.
