Free breast ultrasound campaign 2022

In October 2022, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, KEIT offered free breast ultrasound examinations at its clinic in Tirana. Women could come to KEIT for a check-up with its medical team at no cost.

Breast ultrasound is a simple and painless examination that helps detect changes in the breast at an early stage. Early detection greatly improves the chances of successful treatment, which is why KEIT encourages women to have regular check-ups.

The free ultrasound campaign takes place every year in October and is one of KEIT's main health awareness initiatives.
